Richtlinien für die Fütterung
Ein durchschnittlich großes, ausgewachsenes Meerschweinchen benötigt ca. 40-50g Selective Guinea Pig Grain Free täglich. Frisches Gemüse, frisches Heu und sauberes Trinkwasser sollten jederzeit zur Verfügung stehen. Kühl und trocken lagern.

Such a good product for senior piggies
I have bought this for my adopted two boys guineas since they came to live with me two years ago, they are nearly 6 years old, and they really enjoy it.
I started buying it for an older girl guinea who had some digestive issues as she got older and she did very well on it and lived to seven years of age
One question, its mentioned in one review that packaging is now fully recyclable, but I cant find any information on packaging itself ?
Could you advise when did it become recyclable (have one or two previous bags) and where can we recycle it in UK- thanks!

My piggy boys go crazy!
It’s so nice to see that you made an appropriate pellet for adult piggies as your regular guinea pig food that is advertised as a „balanced adult food“ is alfalfa based which means it’s way too rich for adults (only really suitable for pregnant sows and newborns). Only complaint I have is the bag, it should be in zip lock form so we can keep the rest of the pellets fresh 🙂

While alfalfa hay is suitable for baby rabbits and guinea pigs, and is often considered too rich or high in protein and calcium for adult pets, by blending alfalfa as part of the overall recipe along with other ingredients, we ensure that the levels in our products are perfectly adjusted so that the final recipe is blended for optimal health.
Alfalfa, when incorporated as part of a balanced formula, provides many benefits such as essential nutrients like digestible fibre, vitamins, and amino acids. It supports healthy digestion, tooth wear, and also helps to support a healthy immune system.
This makes these products 100% suitable for rabbits and guinea pigs of all life stages.
But we also have the Grain Free recipe for pet parents that prefer a Timothy hay-based food, and we are really glad to hear your piggy boys go crazy for it!
We also chose not to include ziplocks in our packs to helps to reduce plastic, as ziplocks make it much harder for bags to be recycled – our current pack is fully recyclable.
Bigger size needed
My guinea pigs really like this food and it’s full of the best ingredients but a bigger size would make it 5 stars.
Amazing, healthy grain free pellets
I love how healthy these are because I really struggled to find a Timothy hay based pellet option for the piggies which weren’t full of unnecessary, unhealthy extra ingredients. I also use the rabbit version for willow and she also loves them! Basically we’re a big fan of the grain free pellets!

Feeding time is always met with great excitement by my guineas! They just love this food. Not always easy to get hold of though which is the only drawback
